On 1 October 1581, Oda Nobunaga with 40,000 warriors an attack on Iga clan, and Iga defended by 4,000 ninja and other Iga warriors. Oda’s massive warriors attacked form the west, east and north, in five separate columns. The Iga ninja army defended it desperately. Oda’s armed forces unleashed a massacre on the residents of Iga.
